Yesterday, our firm hosted the big #AI#Summit Event in collaboration with the Zvi Meitar Institute for Legal Implications of Emerging Technologies at Reichman University.
The panels discussed the need for regulation and the absence of it, the implications of implementing rules in practice, and harmonizing approaches. As well as how companies are implementing responsible AI within their products and operations.
We would like to thank all the brilliant panelists for taking part in the conference and for their fascinating insights! 🙏💫

🔍 Our Key Takeaways:
The Israeli Ministry of Science, Technology will likely launch the AI knowledge center this year, with an aim to harmonize AI regulation across multiple regulators.
Striking the right balance between innovation and regulation, and creating an enabling regulatory framework is a crucial factor for the Israeli high-tech industry to continue to thrive. Yet, high-tech companies will inevitably face the need to comply with the EU AI Act and other foreign regulations, as it would be a go-no-go factor for their international activities.
Israeli government officials, scholars and professionals will continue to take part in international AI standardization projects.
We will need an agile, fast learning and very flexible regulatory approach to confront the unknowns of AI use, development and deployment.
Looking Ahead: As we wrap up this remarkable summit, I extend my warmest wishes for more such events in the future. Let’s continue shaping the AI landscape together! 🚀
