HIPAA – The New Guide in Hebrew – Dec 2021 edition.
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), is a useful federal law in the United States that regulates the privacy and security of protected medical information (HIPAA) (the “Law”).
The follow-up provisions for the standard of privacy and information security are accepted and required in the market, and therefore group companies that comply with the law, even though they are not obliged to do so by law, enjoy a significant quality and competitive advantage over their competitors.
The purpose of this guide is to help overseas companies comply with the law, whether by virtue of a subdivision by law or by virtue of a commercial requirement originating from the Company’s customers. The general guide of the law and I will adopt the rules of its provisions, among other things, since it is mainly for private general provisions (as this term is explained below), which in our opinion is the most relative guide to Israeli companies in our clientele.
