Dan Or-Hof Joins the Horizons of Change Arctic Expedition

Leadership Beyond the Office!
Dan Or-Hof, Our owner, recently returned from an extraordinary journey to the Arctic as a participant in the Horizons of Change expedition to the Svalbard Islands.

About the Expedition
Horizons of Change is a multi-year international program designed to push the boundaries of innovation and leadership. Each year, a select group of young leaders, entrepreneurs, and researchers from around the world is invited to take part in a physically and intellectually demanding expedition. Together, they test pioneering technologies, scientific ideas, and personal resilience in the most extreme and remote environments on Earth.

The program is dedicated to advancing sustainable human activity in such regions, while also fostering technologies and methods that are relevant both to climate change mitigation and to the future of space exploration. Before reaching the Arctic, participants refine and accelerate their projects under the guidance of experienced mentors.

Dan Or-Hof’s Role
Dan was selected for the program based on his unique expertise at the intersection of Space laws, technology, and innovation, particularly in the fields of data governance, cybersecurity, and his advisory work with space-tech companies.

During the expedition, the team skied 150 kilometers through the frozen wilderness of Svalbard, pulling 50kg sleds and enduring harsh Arctic conditions. Along the way, they conducted four space-related scientific experiments, including measurements of cosmic radiation and assessments of satellite navigation systems.

A Personal and Professional Milestone
This adventure was not only physically demanding but also profoundly meaningful. It embodied values that Dan brings to his legal practice: leadership, cross-disciplinary collaboration, forward-thinking, and a constant drive to explore new horizons—whether in law, technology, or beyond.

We are proud to support Dan’s participation in this impactful initiative and inspired by his example of using his legal background to contribute to global innovation efforts.
