What Must a Privacy Notice Include?

Under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, when collecting personal data, the collecting entity must provide a notice to the data subject, indicating whether the data subject is under a legal duty to provide the requested data, or alternatively, if providing the data is subject to the data subject’s free will and consent; the purpose for which the data is requested; to whom the data will be transferred and for what purposes.
