Cookie Directive -Reading ANY information over ANY network from ANY end point device used by ANY user requires consent.
On November 14, 2023, the @EDPB has made it clear that the so called #cookiedirective (Article 5(3) of the Electronic Privacy Directive), has a far more outreach than believed.
The bottom line: any information that leaves an end point device or any access through any network to information on the device is covered.
Based on the EDBP opinion, we have mapped the false and correct coverage.
It calls for a re-mapping of all interactions that will require #consent.
