The IAPP Vanguard Awards honor privacy professionals for pioneering work and for helping to shape the future of privacy and data protection.
Only a select few reach the pinnacle of their profession. The IAPP Vanguard Awards recognize one IAPP member from five geographical regions: EMEA, Asia, Oceania, North America (U.S. and Canada), and Latin America (including Mexico) who have achieved greatness in leadership, knowledge, and creativity in the field of data protection.
Dan practices Data Protection, and innovation for over 20 years and has miles of experience working with a large array of clients, ranging from multi-national corporations to early stage start-ups.
Dan is an early adopter of the concept of data protection and privacy governance, and a market leader in privacy and cyber security in Israel.
For the last 5 years, Dan named as t a leader (Band 1) in IT Law and Data Protection by Dun 100, BDI Who’s Who Legal, and Chambers & Partners (2022).
Dan is the first CIPP in Israel (2007) since then he achieve the CIPP/US. CIPM and FIP.
Dan acts to raise the awareness in Israel of international privacy laws and regulations, he is the author of the guide in Hebrew to the GDPR, author of the guide in Hebrew to the CCPA, Author of guidance and analysis papers on data protection regulators’ guidelines and regulations (e.g., Video Surveillance, Cookies, Cal. AG’s proposed CCPA regulations, Connected Cars, COPRA, Information Security, Data Breach and Security by Design) .
