Amir Noy

Amir represents technology companies in commercial transactions and corporate aspects, including data protection and privacy compliance, media, digital advertising, and venture capital investments. As such, Amir deals extensively with data governance, telecommunications, and intellectual property laws and regulations, as well as commercial contracts and licensing agreements.
Amir regularly assists cybersecurity and telecommunication companies in structuring and managing complex personal data flows and architectures, international data transfers, advanced biometrics assessments, implementation of AI technologies, and provides management guidance for AI system development and ethical and societal assessment.
Amir is a PhD candidate at Reichman University, with a primary research focus on law and linguistics, and the intertextuality of legal discourse and AI. Amir also serves as a teaching assistant in “Legal Systems” and “Ethical Aspects of Algorithms” courses.
Amir has been designated as the KnowledgeNet Chapter Chair in Tel Aviv by the IAPP. Amir is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in European data protection regulations (CIPP/E). Amir has been designated as a CAIDP Fellow by the CAIDP board of directors, and Amir serves as an AI Policy Researcher Leader in the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP).
Amir graduated summa cum laude (valedictorian) from the research program of the M.A. Law, Technology and Business Innovation, with a thesis examining the competition and copyright aspects in the streaming industry. Amir also graduated summa cum laude from the research program of the Master of Law (LL.M.) with a thesis in comparative constitutional theories studies.
Amir completed his legal internship at the Intellectual Property Division, Department of the Deputy Attorney General, Ministry of Justice.
